ABOUT SSA GSM (Singapore Society of Anaesthesiologists General Scientific Meeting)

The Singapore Society of Anaesthesiologists (SSA), previously known as the Singapore Anaesthetic Society, was officially registered in September 1971. Besides promoting the art and science of anaesthesia and upholding the dignity of anaesthesia practice in Singapore, the society has always protected and advanced the interests of anaesthetists, while encouraging and promoting social, cultural and professional activities among its members. All anaesthesia specialists, trainees, residents, fellows and medical officers are encouraged to join the society to be part of the Singapore Anaesthesia family. The SSA also offers associate memberships to medical and allied professionals, including medical students.

The SSA GSM is one of the largest anaesthesia meetings in Singapore. It is an annual gathering with more than 300 attendees from both the public and private sector.
